The SS South Steyne is a former Circular Quay to Manly ferry which operated between 1938 and 1974. It was the largest steam powered ferry in the world at 70 metres long. It has now been fully restored as a floating restaurant.

My three year old son, Tom, enjoys a ride on the carousel. This 100 year old fully restored steam driven carousel has hand carved wooden horses and an original 89 key Gavioli organ.

Convent of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rose Bay, Wednesday May 24th 2006.
The Society of the Sacred Heart, a Catholic teaching order founded by Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat in France in 1800, established a convent and school in Rose Bay in 1882 and is now known as Kincoppal - Rose Bay School. A private cemetery for the Sisters lies in the grounds with magnificent views over Sydney Harbour.
