Gladesville Bridge, Tuesday 20th March 2007.
Spanning the Parramatta River the Gladesville Bridge was, on it's completion in 1964, the longest single span concrete bridge ever built. (the longest is in Wanzhou, China completed in 1997) The bridge represents a marvel of engineering design and the use of concrete. It is a dramatic contrast to it's more famous neighbour a few kilometres downstream.
